DESCRIPTION:It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s … a Herring? You’ll want to look up and pay attention during this slippery Seafest staple as you and your teammates dress up in traditional yellow Sou’wester gear and toss Herring to each other from commercial fishing boxes\, multiple meters apart. The goal is to be the first team to gear up and catch as many Herring as possible in a bucket. It’s a ton of fun and a fan favourite year after year! \nPrizes will be awarded to 1st-\, 2nd-\, and 3rd-place winners! \nWe recommend wearing older clothes that can be stained or soiled. \nMust be 13 years or older to take part in this event.\nThe Children’s Mini Fish Toss is scheduled on Kid’s Day – Sunday July 12 at 1 pm at Killiam Brother’s Marina
